Video analysis of plays from the 2024-02-29-NYK game between the Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks. This video unpacks a fascinating mic’d up moment which starts with Steve Kerr chastising Draymond Green, and ends with a Draymond apology to Moses Moody,
To properly understand the moment, we discuss pin-in screens in the Kerr offense and we also track down the exact play that triggered the whole conversation.
We further argue that Steph Curry is the best screener in the NBA, if you count his gravity, how often he screens, how important it is to his team's offense, and how solid his screens are.
Co-starring Jonathan Kuminga, Chris Paul, Gui Santos, Trayce Jackson-Davis and Jerome Robinson. With Jalen Brunson, Precious Achiuwa and Donte DiVincenzo.

So good to see M&M getting time now. Also Dray gets so many opportunities to walk right in unguarded, I would say do it more often but the element of surprise is so entertaining, like what the heck are you doing Dray, you're supposed to direct traffic. I have to bring up the bomb JK sent to Steph and then Steph pulling up just before the line and kinda saying "excuse me fellas but I'm throwing this three", crazy.

You need to do many more of these videos and often. It happens so fast on the court that all some see is the final shot. I am lucky enough from years of following basketball to know what to look for, but that can only be said for some people. Your videos break things down to a 6th-grade level, which is really good.

Tremendous breakdown on a level of Steph's game that no one...NO ONE...has even hinted at before....Steph's screening....I am reminded of an old Bobby Knight (R.I.P) story of when he was coaching the U.S. Olympic team (way before the Dream Team) wherein Michael Jordan had his usual superhuman game in the first half and Coach Knight (a big believer in always looking for ways to encourage better performance) could only comment on when was Michael going to set a pick. Like anybody else, what attracted me to the NBA was the display of sheer athleticism (Dr J and his mind blowing dunks was an early hero). After taking a basketball coaching class in college I have evolved to appreciating what I call being fundamentally sound. Decades of watching basketball has shown so many great athletes who aren't necessarily all that great when it comes to basketballl skills. The obvious example are the players who are actually terrible at shooting but can jump out of the building. Your breakdown is so detailed in showing what basketball I.Q. is all about.

This team is definitely marked by their pass success to their detriment these days. Dray hunts Steph too much particularly in late game situations and the offense gets awfully predictable. The whole team hunts Klay too much and despite moving to the bench his mentality is still too thirsty much of the time. His minutes should still come down and he really shouldn't be on the court unless TJD and CP are out there as well.
