The origin of the "Triangle" term is from the Research Triangle Park created in 1959. That "research triangle" referred to the three schools: Duke, UNC Chapel Hill and NC State. These schools just happen to be in Durham, Chapel Hill and Raleigh respectively.

The Triangle is the metro area that makes up Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill (NC State, Duke, UNC are “triangle” universities for that reason. In the middle of the triangle is RTP, Research Triangle Park which is the epicenter of technology on the east coast (often referred to as the Silicon Valley of the East) so it’s a commonly used term for the area, not just locally. He was just saying how much he liked his time living in the area.

I think oilers fans were complaining about NO calls going against Dallas. Missed calls happen but None of the calls happened. The talked and reviewed and still didn't see Duchesne holding the stick. Should've been 2 min 4 on 4 and a 2 min man advantage. Bouchard 2 min for slashing the hands called by the trailing ref, Replay shows the stick never even came above the knees it waa a shin level attempt at a stick check. 12 min of penalties nothing for Dallas. Bad calls and missed calls happen but usually when there is a missed or bad call there is a make up call.

As a Sharks fan, let me tell you why I highly doubt that the Sharks are in any way considering going for Draisaitl: they literally JUST blew up the core and fully committed to a full rebuild, and are still facing a couple more years of paying out the end of stupidly large contracts (thanks to Doug Wilson for handing out 8x8s like candy). This would be the dumbest possible time to take on another stupidly large contract, which is what we would have to offer Draisaitl to bring him in, especially since it's probably going to be another five years until the Sharks are back to being real Cup contenders. This is the time for them to nurture new talent, not to pay out the nose for one big-name star who, talented as he is, cannot carry an entire team to success.
