I never twigged that Curse of Fenric (looks fine) is immediately followed by Survival (hmmmm) before. Or that a season that ends in comedically low budget Survival started with comedically high budget Battlefield

pretty much accurate. the last few years of 'real doctor who' there was a real sense of lost direction. I just hope they revive it in a few years, maybe go for a feature film... get more overt with the romance, try a shift in setting... say the US. and get new staff and a new doctor on board. paul mcgann would be good, now I think about it. ah... that would be so cool! but not yet. need to let the dust settle. give it say 5-7 years or so.
