Watching this brought tears to my eyes, for two reasons. One, tears of joy that this is possible for gay people, but simultaneously thinking of all the kids who in some states are no longer allowed to speak about their two dads or two moms at school, for fear of being ostracized by other kids and teachers not being allowed to give them the support they need and explain things to the other kids. I’m straight, but I believe in love, and it doesn’t matter who you love. Those Legos placed across the square at the top are almost symbolic for building bridges.
