I've cleared two (2) time attack missions with only rank 1 gear, it's tough because of the 15 minute time limit on those but it really got me thinking, it's prolly possible to beat the entire game using only Rank 1 Gear. I'm not gonna gonna do it, mostly because I have nothing to prove but if you ever decide to want to come back and make an epic video, I hear "can you beat" challenge videos are all the rage right now.

People have done it, it possible. Even the Odin is iirc. To be honest, these low level "can you clear the game with this stupid restraint that isn't really hard" challenge runs are garbage to me. The goal is to be easy for casual people who probably don't play the game to understand, click and watch. Go "wow you beat the game without walking 888". Not to genuinely be difficult or challenging. Shit sucks. To be honest, KZbin rn is oversaturated with low level trash, tailored for people with no taste and no expectations. No attention span either. Releasing competent videos into that sphere and having them drown because I don't clickbait hard enough, got me thinking maybe it's time to just move on from here. I was gonna do both high level dmc5 and ge3 videos, but I know doing 2 games that don't have cross pollination is gonna cause them both to die. Then my mental health becomes fkt when the next person asks me: "bro why did you stop making videos?", as if they cared when I was doing iX2 or dmc5.

You can clear most missions in Rank1 netplay if you are skilled. For some missions you gotta be mindful of the time limit (Certain Class missions, TAs, Challenge to Hounds). It helps to bring bind bullets and elemental engages for Ashwroughts, or even up it to Rank3 or Rank5 gear if you really need to. Can't really speak for Crimson Ashlands though because I only play like 2 of those mission in R1.

R1 is so fun!! lots of time im being saved by well timed healing bullets ahah its like im just there to add challenge to my allies ahah but yeah its fun but it drain me so much in just 1 to 3 missions 😂😅

For someone who considers themselves casual and almost never plays action games, I found rank 1 surprisingly fun.

I tried this solo but no success naturally. There aren't many steam players left of at least in my region that wants to play and most of my steam friends haven't even heard of God Eater. I wish crossplay is possible.
