Yes, but what I've learned from my rebbeim is that our avairot creates a klipah that can muddle a direct connection. A tzaddik has a direct connection. But any truly heartfelt tefillot can pierce a blockage. Best for us to each work on doing teshuvah, so our connection is direct and strong. Shabbat Shalom.

Torah defines lineage by the paternal line. The maternal line determines whether the offspring is Jew or Non-Jew. Today, descendants of Yishmael are usually Muslim and they do believe in One G-D, but their religion is twisted and corrupt. Thank G-D for the muslims who are not anti-Semitism and full of hate. And Jews believe in One G-D, not a trinity and definitely not adhering to belief that JC is the messiah. Check out Jews for Judaism as to why JC plays no role in true Torah.
