I can also guarantee you the pharmaceutical industry has a lot to do with making this illegal it's one of the most vigilant plants in Florida and it is a pest if you're trying to buy land for growing things or a house you have to eliminate it but now the State of Florida wants you to pay to pick berries and if you pick them legally you have to pick it on public land and not somebody's backyard very very good good video thank you sir

Thank you sir that's the best explanation I've heard so far because we had land a long time ago that it was covered in palmettos and we burned every bit of it to plant gardens but thank you for explaining this it makes sense because I know people will trust pass ruin your property just so they can make a buck or party on your land thank you again

I never understood the fight for the berries. I just bought some property to build on and I have thousands of these Saw Palmetto plants to be removed for my retirement dream home. I guess there's one place you won't have to watch anymore......and I spose it takes thousands of dollars from poachers pockets I hope..............😂😂

Look I'm a Florida boy and we've had to burn thousands and thousands of palmetto bushes for a garden a few years back but now people want to come in your house and take over your house that you haven't lived in since last summer and now people are coming down here just to make money and destroying people's property and you say it's a lame video.
