This video convinced me not to buy a trap this big. I’m already 75 and might not live long enough to get them loaded.

If'you ain;t learned how to control 'em & work 'em by now, you never will, so you'd best call a Professional.

He has no choice in the matter!" The Pen-Pusing-Parasites in City Hall have decreed that has too be dome with all wild animals which are trapped. Means the meat is a total waste for aboyr 8 moonths out os 12, coz it;s akeady rottinf before it can be shifted to a processor.

couple ideas. have you tried that hog caller? maybe if you had it at the end of the trailer they might go in after it. another way to move them, you could use something like the splat gun. shoots gel balls. get them to run away from it into the trailer. doesnt do anything to them but might work.

Pigs don't run away from anything attacking their rears, they tun & attack the danger, quicker than you can blink! That's why those who know what they are doing with the "Hot-Shots" , only ever touch their backsides when they want 'en to go turn 180* to face to other way.

You must have 3 disting compartments to your Trailer? one at front, anoother in the middle, & the one that opens intoo the trap? If you allow 2 or 3 back into the middle section, & light 'em up so those in the Trap can see their buddies in there, they'll surely go & join 'em, rather than stay alone in the trap, That & much better co-ordination with having the Doors OPEN & closed at the Right times would help. Once you've got 'em in the chute, & they find there's no way out again,. why do you expect them to go back in again?
@harrylinfield51133 ай бұрын
They'll always be difficult once you shine your lights in their eyes & dazzle them so they can't see a damned thing. Their eyes take FIVE times longer to recover than yours do from headlights, & you ain't giving them a chance to see what's going on, or where they're going. Take off that searchlight from your wagon, which is blinding them even more than it blinds you! DO NOT shine any torches into their eyes, & don't make ,matters worse by waving them about all over the place! ............................AIM ALL LIGHTS DIRECT AT THE EXIT HOLE! Re-Mount that Searchlight from the Wagon, & mount it at the farthest point of the trap so it points at the hole you want'em to go thru'! When you're out after dark, if you've ghot the sense you were born with, you aim your torch at where you are heading! You gotta be all kinds of stupid to shine it direct into your own eyes & dazzle yourself You DON'T aim it direct in your own eys!

The fancy markets like Whole Foods in the Dallas area sell one pound frozen packages of "Ground Wild Boar Meat" for about $12.00, and if you look at the fine print, the label says "Processed from feral hogs harvested in Alabama or Mississippi”. It says "90% Lean", but even so, $12.00? Testing by Texas A&M and Texas Parks and Wildlife has shown the Pig Brig® trap to be by far the most effective for _eradicating_ feral hog populatios.

If you would listen, he said " proceed for human food"
@harrylinfield51133 ай бұрын
Actually they do, as long as they have enough natural food. The difficulty has to be balancing the Numbers with other Species. There is said to be a tight watch kept on the State of the Fencing, but then you're relying on Pen-Pishing-Parasites, paid by yout Taxes, & we all know how efficient they are! Who checks to see if the Fence-Checkers ever get out of bed all thru' winter?
@harrylinfield5113Ай бұрын
I believe he shows 'em unloading intto pens where they are de-wormed, & fed "clean" food for several weeks before goimng too the Processor when they're the right size. The best (most costly) meat is from those weighing 12--150 leld alive, Those above that weight are for only fpr processing, animal feed or fertiliser.

IF you would simply attach 1/4 inch plywood panels painted Black on the insides and top of your little loading chute to fully enclose it so they can't see out and have your Light on the back of your trailer pointing forward into the trailer where you want them to go, instead of blinding them they would load way easier... Plus, it would improve your videos by having far less Hollering, Banging and Kicking shit that is annoying as hell. Work Smarter... NOT Harder... It really helps if you're Smarter than the animals you're trying to load, because as it stands right now you're NOT~!

Yes, that's pretty obvious, but you have to work with the labour you've got, & if you won't eveb admit there is a problem, you're never even going to try & correct it.
