While the cheating may have run deeper than many in the community realised, you stood nothing to gain by making this video yet did it anyway. You chose to apologise just because it was right. I can’t fully forgive you - not yet - but I will thank and respect you for this
@RacetasClub9 ай бұрын
I can tell this is a true, sincere apology and you took responsibility and didn't make excuses for yourself as others often do. I think if you use your clear TAS skills for good, there is no reason not to give you a second chance, imo you deserve it. Taking responsibility is the first step to any journey.

I've been behind you a lot of the time, even when I was aware of what you did. I know these are very deep wounds that will take a long time to heal, but you have taken the correct first step in doing so. Just remember, people's trust in you has been shattered from all of this, but I know they're wiling to give you a chance. Thank you for fully apologizing, and I hope to see the sincereness of the apology shown over time. Try not to let it all mentally rain down on you. I hope soon enough the community will come to fully forgive you, and I hope to see you be able to compete legitimately at some point as well. Welcome back Sky, and may Hu Tao always be with you ❤

All the actual veteran TMNF players will never ever forgive him and for good reason, and im pretty sure hes aware of that already.
@Skycrafter_9 ай бұрын
I am indeed aware of that. The point of the video was not to regain everyone's trust, but to be true to myself. Thank you for providing constructive comments and not rage bait.

Well spoken apology, and I can tell that you are doing what you can to change and improve now, but I can’t help but point out how contradictory it is to say that you knowingly cheated in kackiest kacky but “didn’t realize you were wasting people’s time and hurting the competition” on the most competitive and time consuming event that exists in the community. The entire point of kackiest kacky is to spend hundreds of hours and thousands of attempts to beat extremely difficult maps. You knew what you were doing, so it’s hard to not move past this idea that you somehow didn’t realize what you were doing. People can change, and I hope you can too, but you still have a long way to go.

I am not even that active in the Trackmania scene though i watch a lot of Wirtual's Videos. Really nice apology, i hope the people can forgive you and maybe you will get some legit World Records in the future. :)

Pretty solid apology. No deflection of blame, no pity seeking. Seemed honest. Please work to help them prevent your type of cheating in the future. Thats the best possible thing you can do to regain trust.

Hey friend, good for you for apologizing. We all do dumb shit from time to time! It's human. The human brain is complicated. I don't know the first thing about you; your circumstances, your reasons, your psychological make-up, nor does it matter. It doesn't matter that the apology came late, what matters is that it's here, you've recognized your error, your ignorance, your carelessness, your selfishness, and you have paid the price. Now this chapter must close.

Did you tell Donadigo how you bypassed the competition patch? It's the only way to even begin an apology
@Skycrafter_9 ай бұрын
I said I would answer all his questions and tell him everything about how I did it, but he didn't ask, so I suppose he already knows. If he ever asks, I will answer.

why would you need to bypass it bro just used tas you can do everything with that patch but it will be visible isn`t it?
@Obi-WanKannabis9 ай бұрын
@@alexey3295 I assumed that if you use TAS with the comp patch, it will be flagged as such immediately.
@Xeractyll7 ай бұрын
@@Obi-WanKannabis this is correct. Competitive patch is completely separate from donadigo's TASing interface, and tmx will detect TAS replays from his TAS tool immediately. Competitive patch will detect most forms of cheating, but sometimes people find ways around them.

@loupphok9 ай бұрын
@Skycrafter_9 ай бұрын
@@loupphok Je t'invite à relire mon message.
