What if we have more than one columns on which we want to explode? Something like this is the data: Rule_ID ListType_ID Values 1 1,2 100,200 2 3,4 300,400 We want like this: Rule_ID ListType_ID Values 1 1 100 1 2 200 2 3 300 2 4 400

Performance doesn't really matter here because we have no other alternative to perform this task. Either we have to ingest the exploded data or if you want to handle it in hive then this is the way.
