The rocket sentry still hits heavy armor, just the AOE that no longer does, but direct hits can and will hit striders biles chargers etc

Arrowhead are afraid of adding back the Eruptor's shrapnel because of the low visibility of the projectile and it's tendency to instantly kill allies or the user with little to no semblance of how you died, plus the theoretical maximum damage of 1 shot being over 9000 damage. (All described in the blog that released alongside the patch notes) The insane damage was because of the charger leg bug, so that's a null point since that's been patched, and personally I'm completely okay with the friendly fire since the deadly explosive weapon should be used at longer ranges anyway, plus accidental friendly fire is funny lol

Tbh I want to like the Crossbow more and closing bug holes is a great start but i still feel it needs a real combat buff. For starters its needs its durable damage fixed.

@@Mr_ViPR I’d welcome more AOE dmg, not sure why that was reduced, it’s in a playable state though I’d say.

@@dadpoolgames1748 I think they reduced it because the Crossbow is supposed to be the high single target explosive while the Eruptor is the big AoE nuke. I think it’s most usable on bots since medium pen is more valuable there and there less enemies trying to run u down.

Spear also targets the base of the shrieker nest, causing the nest to not take dmg

That is wack, I do like the one shot on bile titans but it’s a one trick pony atm🤷🏽‍♂️

@@dadpoolgames1748 The fabricators were brought up as an unintended bug that's going to be fixed. Otherwise I can still take out most things with it in one shots, striders and behemoth chargers in 2. Cannons are great too, take them out before you even get close, some objectives also have heavies near them that can be taken down with splash damage (Spore spewer in my video) Ill always passionately advocate for this weapon so take it with extreme bias I got a video because I used it a lot prebuff and this lock on "fix" has actually made it a lot more user friendly, no real learning curve to the weapon anymore
