There doesn't seem to be any water pressure on the boiling water.

would you recommend your product for use in a campervan?
@intuevolutiontheboilingwat34452 жыл бұрын
Hi Wendy, thank you for your enquiry. I have been looking into a camper vans etc myself and the only concern might be the power used. When heating the unit, it uses 1.5Kw. Whilst this is lower than a standard kettle (3Kw) some campsites could have a limit. Once heated up from cold (approx 6-7 minutes) it only heats up every so often for a few seconds to keep the water at temp. The tap itself fits a standard size tap hole so that is not an issue. Just check the draw allowed and if that is ok with other things running in your campervan then you should be ok. I hope this helps and if you need anything else please get in touch. INTU Team

@@intuevolutiontheboilingwat3445 So it had a tank? I wonder why it can't be tankless, and boil the water truly on demand... I'm sure we have the technology to be able to do this. Maybe the water will need to come out a bit slower, but still. Do we really lack the way/technology to make instant boiling water TANKLESS tap?

Hey guys, what's the average annual power consumption of such great invention
@ianfutube Жыл бұрын
I've recently had one of the Quooker taps fitted. I was a bit concerned about the running costs of keeping water constantly available on the boil. After doing some monitoring with it connected to a smart socket I can see that the unit consumes about 210 watts in a 24 hour period when not in use (UK in September, ambient temperature around 19 degrees Celsius). This works out around £23 per year but I reckon that I'll easily save that in energy that hasn't been used when people overfill the kettle.
