This once sprawling amusement park far down the Southern Italian peninsula hasn't welcomed any visitors for the past 4 years.
Now, only grass pushes through the concrete of its vacant parking lots - leaving a strong sense of extinction in place.
The park's inauguration took place back in April 2009, little anyone knowing it would permanently close its doors to any visitors barely a decade thereafter. After the first "record" seasons, turnover would have stagnated until 2018, the park's last operational season.
The rustle of dry vegetation has now replaced the sounds of joy and laughter of families as greenery and palm trees are gradually encroaching the park.
The owners of this park, which spanned 25 acres and had 18 attractions, once had the ambition to make this the main amusement park in southern Italy, but instead, their investment of 42 million dollars in this mega-project, is now gone with the wind.
It's time to dream away in a distorted version of your childhood today, as I explore this massive place and find out thrills at this park still exist.

I started seeing your videos at the beginning of the pandemic. I love how you find places to explore that have not been heavily vandalized and you are able to show the beauty and history of the area. It saddens me that there are those who claim that they are “urban explorers” but all they do is to destroy the area by breaking whatever they find. When you show explorations, I always wonder as to who actually lived there and why exactly was everything left the way it was. Is there a story behind the reason why the house or residence was left that way. I loved this video and that you found past footage of the park and mixed it in with your current exploration. I also loved that you gave the history of the place by telling it’s story. Your videos show that you research places and things and just don’t assume what an object is. Keep up the wonderful work that you do and I can’t wait to see the next one!

I doubt this has anything to do with shootings. You have to be careful anywhere you go by yourself. I love maureno and hope his issues get resolve quickly. But it isn't smart for any foreigner to travel to Vegas by themselves in a another country or vise versa. He way partying too much and that had me worried anybody could've easily taken advantage of him. I hope he's alright and that this will be a hard lesson never let your guard down and you must be careful in any country. Not everyone has the same laws. He also had to appear before court. So he must've gotten into a bit of trouble. Maybe going through an abandoned property?.

When you think of the pleasure and joy the theme park must have given to thousands of people it's so sad that no buyer has been found to bring it back to life. Hi Explomo, your video adventure was Great!! Love how you showed what the amusement looked like when it was open & what it looked like the day you visited! Yes, that was a bit scary to have a alarm go off & having to watch, then hide for 2 hours! I have never seen a Double Carousel in a Theme Park or at any Festival or the Shopping Mall. As for seeing Niagara Falls with the water, was exciting, because my 1st honeymoon was suppose to be seeing that...as we drove from Illinois- home, to Pennsylvania - zoo, then to New York to see Niagara Falls was disappointing to find out it was closed & under repairs & water was gone, so we went to Canada for a day...went to gift shop to buy Canada glasses which I still have them...50 yrs now! Hey my dear Mo! ❤ Even though u weren't able to show us the whole park, but the part that we saw was really amazing! Abandoned theme parks are always one of my fav to watch 🤩 I like to see how creative they were while building it, and how cute and beautiful the park is! It just reminds me of childhood, and is satisfy the inner child in me 🥰 I may be weird, but parks become prettier more interesting when abandoned, idk why maybe the vegetations make the place better and decorate it in a special way. Especially palm trees, one of my fav trees! I always ask myself why they care that much about abandoned parks, in the end they should become touristic places where people can come and spend time and admire this place, that in the first place shouldn't become abandoned, what a waste of money and everything! But we should not forget that not everyone is like us, some come to ruin the place, so that's why they try to protect it from vendalism 😬 also, i hate it when u get chased by security cuz u don't deserve. U are one of a kind explorer and a respectful one. If they knew how kind and polite u are, they won't mind u exploring that place. 😌 But in the end, that's a risky hobby but worth it though! I like how u showed us how the park was before, full of people, screams and life. And also, i felt like i was riding the roller coasters too lol 😆 That was such and great video, explore and place. Growing up as a kid in Chicago there was an amusement park in a neighborhood that wasn’t very big nor expensive called Riverview. It was perfect place to go & didn’t cost an arm & a leg. Favorite ride was the tilt a whirl. It was knocked down to build a police station. What a bummer. If I won the lottery I’d buy a house &and put one in my back yard. Innocent fun.

Thank you so very much, I am from the usa .Didn't know that you were here for as long as you have been.You couldn't get better than what you are already , your the best , at what you do , honestly.Thiscwas so exciting, I can imagine , that you felt blown away.So many things still there, I hate that the investors loss out so much.Can't understand why they had to close down, seems like they could have offered special discounts to people, like on certain days.Maybe offered cut rates for schools , orpagies, children with cancer or other problems or special needs.That would have had the park still opened and gave others a chance to come back , after having a fun time.Even Birthday specials for families celebrating , so many different things to allow others to keep coming in .Just seems strange that in such a short time(to have invested all that money ) then just close up, well, hope you are enjoying yourself, please be safe, your such a delightful young man, I know that your family are proud of you, God bless and protect you, until the next time , love you and Raymond , both of you stay sweet.Enjoy you so much!
