This location is truly awesome! I loved the fireplaces. The amount of decay is amazing for so short of a time. That bedroom is outstanding! I love the bed and the toy train is great. As always it is sad to see vandalism. The blue room is stunning! I always say it but I hate to see books abandoned. Our heritage is in books. I wonder if the one book was a book of old ordinances/laws from back in the day. Thank you so much for this one!

Hey Maureno and Remon from fabulous team Explomo, This château was still very fascinating to see! Some most beautiful gilded decorations, beautiful fireplaces and elaborate carvings as well as some still more or less intact antique furniture show clearly, that it effectively was a château once back in the active days of this location. It's unbelievable to see how a combination of long neglect, natural decay and sadly also vandalism can destroy such a once wonderful historical building way beyond repair and restauration. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing explore adventure with us viewers. Wishing you all the best, peace and kindest regards.

Amazing place on a nice piece of property. The dates on the items in the kitchen seem to indicate that there might have been squatters on the property long after the owners departed. It looks like this place has been abandoned for 30+ years. That room at 13:22 with the gorgeous fireplace must have been a great gathering place for dinner. That is some beehive🐝 wow! . The red wallpaper would have given the room a warm feeling. No matter what the state of decay is, vandalism always makes me angry, it's so unnecessary. I think that old book has something to do with laws. 👍
@carrierhinier62913 ай бұрын
The big book that Remon was fascinated by was a book of Laws, Decrees and Ordinances. Such a pity that the chateau was ransacked even with the little left behind would have been amazing to see in their rightful places. It’s sad that France makes it extremely difficult for heirs to inherit properties.

It was probably in mass decay before the person died, then vandalism on top of it.. one thing I've noticed about these chateaux, it's like nothing is ever thrown, taken to donations. These places are so large, so anything not using, they seem to just store in a part of the chateau that they aren't using. = Those areas seem to be in greater decay as well.

Someone, possibly even the owner was staying in the building until 2016 as it fell into decay. Lack of money finally drove them out. If a person happens upon an abandoned building they too may live in it as long as they can. Until it becomes uninhabitable.

Hola chicos!!

After the French revolution inheritance rights changed so the families of the ruling landowners made it harder to keep the big number of staff needed to maintain a property of this size. Such an inheritance would have been a poison chalice.

Chin 🥂

Hey guys here is an example of what right now I have witnessed. And touched held today while I am the caretaker of the abandoned home. You know your history of the battle of the big horn col Clustered last stand ? You know the aftermath of what hàs taken place ? Where everything after the battle was taken by Sioux Indians and the towns people where nothing almost nothing was left ?. Well now I held a documented Samuel colt firearm that was found later from the battle then sent to Colt and was completely refurbished and a president of the United States carried it as well but ends up here with 3 other documented weapons from that battle. Of the 7th Calvary. Cool right but what is still left in this home would blow your minds as well should I make videos for you. To narrate ? The history of a collection that the owners fall victim to soon after the pandemic. Vaccine. Much love ❤
