Before this slumbering town in France stirred to life, me and my friend Carlo had already embarked on a peculiar journey, delving into the shadows of a strange yet enchanting edifice hidden away. Cloaked by the morning fog and engulfed by wild, jungle-like foliage, this mystical house, capped by a tower, seemed to emerge from the pages of a fairy tale.
The house sat nestled amidst the vast farmer fields that dotted the quiet countryside town, its unique architecture and furniture speaking volumes of its past. Wooden bars formed the skeleton of the house, ornately designed and finely carved, whispering stories of a time long past.
In the silent shadows of the half-renovated downstairs, echoes of laughter and conversations lingered, as though frozen in time. The renovations had been abruptly halted, leaving an eerie tableau of abandonment.
Once, this ethereal home was a haven for two women - Nancy, and likely her daughter, Sylvie. Fate had not been kind to Nancy, gracing her path with painful trials including breast cancer and a tragic accident. Yet, her spirit was indomitable. She was a beacon of gratitude, cherishing life's smallest blessings and filling her home with echoes of her joy.
An avid traveler, Nancy had brought back fragments of the Orient, transforming the bedrooms into exotic escapes. Oriental décor mingles with magical drapes and an array of dolls, conjuring an enchanting aura. The exact date of abandonment was shrouded in mystery, adding an extra layer of intrigue to our exploration. As dawn broke, we readied ourselves to unravel the secrets of this forgotten, magical dwelling.

Everytime I watch those videos it makes me think life is short and passes quickly. I imagine people who lived in that house with all their cheers or problems. Daily life full of life...now nothing. Only deteriorated stuff. No memories because nobody is there to tell.

This house had an unusual layout. Never seen anything like it. Looked like they acquired quite a bit of stuff though. That happens when you live in the same house for decades. Maybe after one of the ladies passing away it was just too overwhelming to deal with clearing it out. Loved the pristine bedrooms. Those dolls, I'm sure, are valuable antiques. This was outstanding, Maureno!! Absolutely enchanting! Nancy was beautiful and young. Her accident which caused a head injury probably caused her death. Then Sylvia’s cancer caused hers. I love this house. It’s just as I would decorate it. Since everything, even makeup, is left behind, I would guess it was just left after their deaths. I love her dolls. Thank you for such a captivating video ❤❤

The dolls are all to creeeepy for me. But, Yes ! A very interesting house. Many beautiful items, but not well coordinated. Just a chaotic look, even though the furniture and wallpaper and lamps, and many other items are stunningly beautiful.

Mi opinión sobre esta casa, la encontré extraña, es una construcción desordenada, pienso que a la casa original le hicieron ampliaciones y le pusieron detalles, como los pilares, arcos y esas dos puertas como de la India? quizás para darle un estilo "exótico" que a su dueña le gustaba, tal vez de sus viajes. La casa quedó extraña a nuestros ojos, pero seguro ella la disfrutó. El dormitorio principal es increíble, los muebles y la cama me encantaron, pero la pared detrás del cabecero de la cama es como de otra época,😍 si no me equivoco está cubierta por una tela y las fotografías o pinturas antiguas con sus marcos son un detalle muy bonito. Maureno, al igual que tú me encantaron esos muebles del comedor tallados, son los que se reciben de herencia de generación en generación, pero que no siempre encajan en el estilo de la casa, pero se conservan por amor a la familia. What happened to these ladies is sad! I hope they rest in peace 🙏❤ That lady was a really pretty woman, and has a good taste! I really like her room. I bet she spent time in there and felt like a princess! But the second room isss wayyy prettier 🤩 the bed is just magical, and the curtains and all the art work on the walls. Even the downstairs, even though its almost empty now, i bet it used to be amazing back in the days. Also their garden is prefect! What is better than spending time with the girlies gossping and spilling tea? And to have a good swim in that pool on a sunny day?
