Beautiful house. I would love so much to go to Belgium. My grandmothers first husband died at Battle of Messines June 1917. The mines going off were heard all the way to London. My daughter went to lay a wreath in his name at Menin Gate Memorial because he was never found. We feel a connection to Belgium, so I thank you from my heart for posting videos from there. Sarah says it is a beautiful country. X X

Hi Marie! Honestly, for us this is common sense. The fact that these buildings have no inhabitants anymore doesn’t mean that these belongings have no value. It is essential to treat these homes and their interior with all the respect. That’s what we’ll always do and did! :-)

Guys the decay probably started years before they left the house and that’s why they chose to leave instead of fix....the wine bottles were covered so that light didn’t get to them in that room...the painting is done on canvas and then stretched to the the mouldings and then mouldings and painting attached to the wall...

Isn’t it illegal to go in a house if someone is taking care of it especially if they are locked? Almost all programs we claim someone is taking care of it but they leave the doors open in some of them. Very odd.

Maybe the Heir's couldn't or haven't been found. We've got criminals and batshit crazy people who have not only been using our Stolen Information, but others who have "made" themselves part of the family and are not any relation what so ever....not biologically or adoption. It's absolutely horrifying & mortifying. We've even had the criminals enter Fraudulent Information on Genealogy website's. We were instructed to leave the Fraudulent Information on the Genealogy website's because the criminals don't need to know the correct information. However, we post the situation because we've nearly lost our lives and have missing & deceased loved ones. The criminals who have done this are very dangerous and for someone who might innocently be trying to find a relative or friend through one of those websites and connect's with the wrong person...!! It's a Worldwide Security Issue. With these properties that are in tact and appear as though someone went to town perhaps or on Holiday & Never made it home. In regards to some young people, a group from a Church in the United States reported to us that some young Americans had either been found by them or the young people found them on a trip overseas, but the Church group returned to the United States and contacted the FBI trying to get the young people rescued, but the FBI would not do anything. Also, reports of young people being lured by offers of Free College Degree's in Foreign Countries but upon arrival in some of the destinations their travel documents & passports being taken away from them in efforts to keep them from returning to the United States and no College Degree's. The videos that are done are invaluable in a Historical sense, but the personal photos and items that might be relevant to a viewer that might be a family member or friend who would recognize a photo or a personal item. Also, what happened to the people?? A business woman in the United States wasn't found for years because she traveled abroad for work and had automatic withdrawal from the bank for the mortgage, insurance, utility and all payments. Even when the Bank foreclosed on the home because the money finally ran out she wasn't discovered dead in the garage until the Bank, I think, finally found a distant relative. We tried to get the criminals living in a dead family members house arrested but the police sent us a message that we could contact them and they would talk to us about our case. Our case is the loved ones dead and we asked for the criminals responsible to be arrested but the criminals were living in the beautiful home. The computer could be key to information needed. If you see photos please let your viewers see them!! The photos or art work, Etc are important. Also, the wine bottles... where were they from?? Thanks

My son and I feel there is so much more of these abandoned castles and mansions that if you take a time line and lay all the ones out. There might many reasons why the owners left the mansions and castles! I love you both and keep safe and keep up the great work!

You should do a funny video of a friends house and say look, everything is still here even the people! Have them pretend they can’t see or hear you.

Hi Pamela, we have encountered it so many times but still we totally agree on you you that it is still hard to believe what people leave when they are gone. Unbelievable sometimes that such valuable belongings are left to rot. Anyways. Thanks for watching and till next time! :-)

Just finished your French explore prior to Christmas in the True Lies mansion. I have seen a lot of your stuff (and others, too) and this is probably my favorite of all. It's a lot more personal than you usually get to see as well as amazingly beautiful. I also saw the French castle intended for a hotel today.outstanding architecture. No disrespect intended here:you and Ramon are my two favorite explorers, thanks for the videos. Your little remark about 1969 being a long time ago yes it is I was in high school then. Thanks again, kimberly hale phoenixmarizona USA

You should explore more, open wardrobes and drawers to know more about people that used to live in those places. In 28:06 there was a circuit breaker and you guys didn't try to turn lights on.

Hi Maureno and Remon, Explomo, Incredible location. Most of the rooms you showed, seemed to be in a pristine condition. I agree to you, that eventually the relatives of that man you mentioned, might take care of the castle. It would be such a loss, if a place as beautiful as that one, would just slowly but steadily and inevitably rot away and decay to pieces. - That was by the way a very wise decision to lock the macbook away and hide the key. - I was also happy to see how carfeful you were showing everything. The high amount of respect and deep compassion, you also show during your explores for the former inhabitants, is just amazing. So, I hope you get much more subscribers, because you really deserve it more than anything else! - Have you any information, what is going to happen to this location in the future? - Thank you once again for a highly interesting and wonderful explore, boys! - This special explore in Belgium must have been even more exciting for you, because you were "pioneers" with your explore, as being probably the first ones to explore this place. - Very well done! Superbe camerawork and very good commenting. - Stay safe, blessings and kindest regards from Switzerland.

Hey Willy! Thank you very much. Great choice of words. It’s exactly like you say, being the “pioneer” (the first one) to explore a place is always very exciting and special, especially nowadays as urban exploration is becoming quite popular. We don’t have any information about this place, as it is very unknown in the urban exploration community. Apparently, there are 2 Dutch woman taking care of the property. I hope someone will see the video and provide us with more information. Hopefully it will remain in the beautiful condition we found it. Kindest regards. Team Explomo

Vandaag tweede kerstdag 2019. Zit met verbazing te kijken hoe schoon het kasteel is. Het lijkt net of er nog iemand woont. Er ligt zelfs geen stof op de glazen platen waar de wijnglazen en dan de sofa en blauw/groene stoel lijken als nieuw. Hele mooie abandon video

Hi Pamela! Thank you so much for your lovely comment and enthusiasm. This castle had around +/- 30 rooms. We do not know what happened with the owners, but probably they passed away. It is located in Belgium but apparently there are 2 Dutch women taking care of the property now. In the end, you’re very welcome :-)

My guess is the old man living there didn’t let anyone help him much and the repairs got out of control...ps spider webs can build up in a week depending on the type of spider, has no bearing on amount of time house in use...if he started to live in just the livable areas it would get out of control fast with rot as he was heating certain areas and that would create condensation in other areas from the heat cold variable

You should buy a camera drone and give us an above view of the whole building and the grounds it stands on. That would be great. Also do some digging into the history off the place. This info can be found if you go to the correct authorities. Put it all together and you have a full story no mysteries will remain. You guys should do This for a living after studying.
