I recall my mother driving across the Golden Gate Bridge with me in the front passenger seat and my three siblings in the backseat. There was a severe wind coming in from the West as we drove towards San Francisco in the very middle of the bridge. Without the wind appearing to gust, my mother said that she was moved 4 ft over into the other lane "by the wind". After seeing this demonstration I'm convinced that we were experiencing one of the bridge modes that was described as a horizontal shift of up to 6 ft in a 45 mile an hour wind. I got to witness it. Scary.

That’s a rad model of the Golden gate, where did You get that?- I want one! I’m not against building one for myself ether, I built a wooden model of the Tacoma Narrows bridge back when I was in high-school, but it got knocked out of a window and shattered on the floor. 💔
