Thank you for the video. Your video is about EFA yet in the explanations using SPSS you use the principle component method for extraction instead of principle axis factoring which should be used for EFA. The results are totally different. Please explain

EFA has certain techniques. Like the one you mentioned. It depends on the research questions and theoretical framework that which techniques suitable in which situation. In this case, principal rotation matrix is suitable because uncorrelated predictors (independent variable) will be used to predict the change in dependent variable.

You should use EFA with the final data. For pilot testing, only check reliability of the scale.

AOA, Respected Mam, EFA of 79 line items scale shows their are 15 factors but all values are loaded in first column. i dont know why.... it means there is only one dimension of scale ? but i does not seem logical. kindly guide me how to handle this.... Jazak Allah

If all the items are loaded in one column, it means they are converged with each other and this is a problem. Start doing some remedy, like; delete items one by one which have low factor loadings.

Please fix the factors up to 6 then see what happens whether factors are making or not. Based on the correlation, factors can be made.

In this case, both is appropriate. As Likert scale follows order and it has an interval. Therefore, both are correct.

There are fewer than two cases, at least one of the variables has zero variance, there is only one variable in the analysis, or correlation coefficients could not be computed for all pairs of variables. No further statistics will be computed. It shows this after data analysis😥
