We prefer it this way, as we want to make sure we don't receive "special treatment" and are able to share a similar experience to what our viewers are likely to have. Because you inspire us so much we tried new places on our coast. First was newly opened Rock and Brew. I ordered the Demon Chicken sandwich which comes with a pretty stern warning. It was hotter than a Florida sidewalk in July. I ate one of the jalapeno chips in front of the waiter and told him I needed it to cool down my mouth. Today we went to the Fat Stork and I had the best shrimp tacos Ive had in my life. I would follow you guys anywhere but hot yoga.

Yeah I (Skylar) never really enjoyed raw fish either until fairly recently. It was a very slowly acquired taste. That said, that vegan roll was one of the best sushi rolls I've ever tried (vegan or not). And yeah, I think you'll love Mutts & Martinis.

That Shrimp 🍤 Po Boy looked amazing. I used to be a Cubs’ Fan from childhood, but it was time to switch to a homestate team from my traditional team after the Cubs core broke up in 2021. The Braves and Cubs were on all the time, and I was a Cubs fan because of my DAD and the WGN station with Harry Caray and Steve Stone. So, that’s a true statement with the exception of the youngest of generations. Marlins came about in 1993(two titles) and Rays came about in 1998(Two WS appearances)

We love the rooftop at Hotel Zamora for drinks and views... we also really like Sea Dogs in Treasure island for food and beers. If you make it a bit further north to Madeira Beach, we really enjoy the Angry Pepper, Harbor Master Tiki Bar, and Crabby's on the Pass. We hope you guys have a great time!

Yeah, unfortunately our video style is pretty time-intensive when it comes to editing, so until Jamie is able to also start working on the channel full time, we'll probably stick to one episode per week. Alternatively we could make more, but much shorter videos, but the KZbin algorithm seems to like our longer videos more than our shorter ones. Some day we do hope to find more time to make some shorts. I know a lot of creators are getting a lot of views and subs from shorts, although it's hard to make much money on them.

Hello, Carolyn. The first two weeks of September are the height of hurricane season, and it is also typically still quite hot and humid during that time of year. Typical high temperature will be around 90, with an afternoon thunderstorm on many days. Good news is that the beaches normally aren't too crowded, and the gulf waters are very warm (if you like that).

I've heard that Saint Pete's has a decent concentration of African-Americans. I don't feel like I saw much diversity in this video at all. Those considerations could increase viewership! Great video!

We're glad you enjoyed the video and really appreciate you taking the time to comment, Justin. When filming these episodes, we always try to focus on the food and drinks (or the product/service being offered)... not so much the people. We actually try to keep people out of our videos as much as possible, although that can be nearly impossible in a crowded place. But you did hear right, St. Pete is a pretty diverse place overall. That said, the diversity doesn't always seem to be well represented in most of these new establishments located downtown. If you know of any new businesses around downtown St. Pete that are a bit more diverse, please do let us know, and we will certainly look into including them in future content.
