The Saturday night dances in the Hall were a massive draw from the country around, even for folk from Strathdon!!! Fond memories.

Camped there in our Campervan, lovely site and Wardens. Commercial Hotel gives a good feed, homely cooking. Arrived there as a result of an encounter with a 40 foot artic lorry, but that’s another story. Good strolls in the surrounding area.

Wow! This video is packed with cool history! 😮 I never knew Tarland had such a long and interesting past! I'm fascinated by the ancient settlements and the pottery finds. 🏺 I'd love to visit and see the Tarland Burn and the areas that used to be marshland.
