Even though I have read bad things about Egypt, I am surprised by how friendly the people are there and how everyone smiles and has a good attitude. I am Colombian (I have Lebanese roots) and I live in a city that is on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, and naturally the people here are very friendly. But even here people don't come up to greet you or smile at you like the Egyptians do.
