So enjoyable seeing your cheerful and informative videos. While I've spent time in Jakarta visiting old neighbors, most recently just before the pandemic, it has been 40 years since I was last in Bali. Denpasar appears to have grown enormously since then (like most everywhere in Asia). But I'm glad to know the wonderful food remains much the same. Ayam desa panggang dengan rempah segar masih adalah istimewa dan enak!

well, that interesting..when you said "Ayam Kampung", tbh i kind of worry, because this particular chicken is sometimes misunderstood by foreigner.. First, because it size is smaller compared to regular sized chicken called "ayam negeri" and meat is tougher compared to regular chicker., the price also higher compared to regular chicken. There reason for all of that, That Ayam kampung is free ranged chicken that only fed naturally, no hormon at all..this why the chicken is smaller and the meat is tougher..but, the taste of chicken is more flavourfull compared to regular chicken..hence the price also higher..

Wow almost forgot about Ayam Bakar after seeing Babi Guling The Ayam sambal looks amazing all the greens reds purples, could imagine the intense flavours combinations just looking at it and ending it with Vitaly expression after tasting, priceless! Hi, Jean and Vitaly! Thank you for mentioning that the restaurant is a halal one. I'm an Indonesian who used to live in Bandung. I went to Bali once in 2006 to attend a three-day conference in Sanur. After that, I spent 4 days exploring Sanur and Kuta. As a moslem, I didn't taste any Balinese cuisine because I didn't know any halal ones . Can you imagine that I only ate at Pizza Hut and KFC at that time? What a shame, right? I will sure check this restaurant out next time I'm in Bali.
