Folktales are stories made by people and circulated by them. So we really don't know whether they were real. In this context, we found this story in our research, rewrote it and adapted it to make it more engaging.

It's a story about mindfulness and being attentive to the knowledge that our elders pass on to us. You must have read about how recently 4 children were found in the Amazon rainforest. After the plane crash, they had survived in the wild jungle on their own. Key thing to their survival was the knowledge of flora and fauna that their grandmother had passed on to them. Exactly like that, here Ono is aware of tsunami and what steps to take as he has paid attention to the folk knowledge that he got from the aged. Following that knowledge, he saves the entire village. And of course, I can't stop admiring him for being so gutsy.
