It's fascinating to see an historic house such as Knole but see the behind the state rooms etc that are always on show. I find that the inner rooms etc really fascinating and a stark contrast to the public rooms. It shows the complexieties and how the mansion was built and its structure. I prefer looking at the inner structure of Knole than the pomp and finery of the main rooms!😂
