Very interesting. I only climbed up 1 lighthouse and that was in Cape May NJ. I have taken lighthouse tours by boat in Waterford CT, I can’t remember if Montauck was on the tour, I remember Plum Island being on the tour. If you are interested in more historical sea ventures, Mystic Seaport in CT is a great place to explore.

Nice view! Did you stop by Camp Hero along the way as well? From the lighthouse you can see its Sage radar. The things that happened at camp hero was the basis for the tv series stranger things. . . . Saifat, (please forgive me if I mispelled your name) if you ever want to tour that place, get in touch with its historian, Brian Minnick, the guy the movie folks consult - he has a yt channel called "Montauk is strange" and he has recently published a book about it.
