Cheers, Freddie! I didn't know there were so many indie bookshops in the city. I'm really enjoying the series. I was gonna go to these alone, but I was quite ill last year and didn't see my friends much. I thought I was dragging Julia to the Cambridge one and Mavis to this one, but they both loved it as much as I did and we had a proper chat - unlike our usual rushed "let's do coffee" or group chats. I don't know how many KL bookshops are near you or how widespread they are, but I can recommend this as an activity - though I bought more books than I told myself I would 😅

@@PageTurnersWithKatja I run the risk of overspending if I were to often visit the shops near me. 🤣 There are a few in KL that I usually go to, typically used books. I might record my future visits and include them in my videos but I often feel self-conscious recording outside. I put a very very very short clip of a bookstore visit in my latest video.

This time I clipped the camera to my backpack and just kept recording, and then unclipped it to zoom in on books. Sometimes, I accidentally press the fast capture or slow-motion buttons 🤦🏼‍♀️😭. I have to edit a lot - deleting scenes of people's faces, etc, but it does mean I don't feel self-conscious holding the camera. I hope I'll get better with practice.

Great tour around my home town Norwich! Looks like you managed all the main shops. My favourites are Dormouse and Tombland. Next to Dormouse is The Games Room which has science fiction and fantasy paperbacks too. I remember Ellis also had a stall on the market too many years ago. Hope you enjoyed your day in Norwich.
