I'm so sorry, my friend. I know how much heaviness and crushing grief and despair I felt. It took a long while for the huge weight to lift enough to engage with life and wish to go on. I assure you, your Mom is somewhere around you in some energy form,vas we all will be someday. Jazz, reading, Samaneri Jayasara's meditations channel, time,wailing, birds, animals, Nature, writing, Marx Brothers films, Jerry Garcia's bands, Bill Evans and Eddie Higgins (both gorgeous pianists), Hugh Prather's books. Cooking great, nutritious, delicious meals for yourself, talking aloud to Mom....these help. I'm not "over" grieving by any means however. Just allow however it flows to flow. But don't let despair overwhelm you. A memorial project involving photos and music and writing helped me a lot in honoring my mom's life and legacy, then uploading it for it to stay until Google swallows itself and the whole world. Wishing you peace and strength, my friend.

Thank you for this. Last night I ran into someone I hadn't seen in a long time- someone who harmed me 8 years ago, when I was young and he was older. He is doing poorly, and is deep in addiction now. I asked for an apology and he gave me one, finally. I needed to share this. I'm hurting a lot today. But this music is making me feel not alone. Thank you ❤
