Thank you for visiting Shiga! I've been living here since March and honestly it's the best place. People are so lovely and friendly, and the local food is so delicious! Also the mountains are beautiful no matter the weather :D

Otsu is just one train stop away from my former home for a year, Yamashina, Kyoto. :( You made me miss Kansai so bad. I visited Otsu, Kusatsu, and Hikone in Shiga while I was living in Kyoto, but I never got to do anything summer-y at Lake Biwa. 😂 You're such a friendly person; I enjoyed this video a lot! ☺️

Holy poo. I loved everything about this video?!?!?! The grandmother (so sweet!), the roofing company (how cool was that man with the nails in his mouth!!!???), the temples... Not to mention that your footage is just fantastic. Definitely putting this on my list of places to visit! Thank you for the wonderful video!

Because of videos like this, my wife and i are getting more and more interested in visiting Japan (probably in two or three years). The people you featured in your video were very interesting. Well done on the video!

As if I needed more reasons to return to Shiga prefecture! Wow wow wow.. even with the rain, the scenery was fantastic! Looks like you had a wonderful time! ❤
Sounds I made while watching: Awwwwwww: dogs make me smile Whoa!: Tapanaki looked out of this world Oh wow: hotel room was chic Hmm?: Curious about that juice This trip looked like a great time. :)
I really love Shiga prefecture, especially Biwako. It's such a calm place, you can really relax and recharge there.

I love hearing they have a Dog-Friendly Cafe! I wonder if there's an especially dog-friendly city that would make a collaboration video and show us how to travel with dogs @_@.
@Ciaela6 жыл бұрын
I feel like in Japan there's two types of "dogs". Lots of places that claim to be "dog friendly" really only mean "smol puppers" and when you bring something like a Shiba or Golden Retriever along they're like "oh heck."
