Very picturesque town. It reminds me of pictures of Scandinavia in text books when I was in elementary school. Yep we refrigerate eggs here, and it has been as long as I can remember.

It was so beautiful there. I’ve learned that America refrigerates eggs because they are washed in warm water before they go to the store which can cause salmonella.

More from the day which wasn’t as I hoped, the city itself was so beautiful. Nope, eggs here aren’t refrigerated at the supermarket or stores and we just leave them on the counter in the kitchen.

@@DADDIO69 It’s because eggs in the US are cleaned and washed before going to the supermarket whereas we don’t bother with all that here as it’s not necessary.

Your video sent me down a rabbit hole about egg refrigeration. Eggs have to be refrigerated in the US and I didn't know that wasn't the case everywhere. I found an interesting article about why eggs in the US, Japan, Australia and Scandinavian countries need to be refrigerated while eggs in other countries do not. It is a long story having to do with hen vaccinations but I feel like I have learned something today. Skagen looks like a lovely seaside city. Thanks for the tour!

Such a lovely walking tour of Skagen. Love all the great sidewalk cafes, restaurants, flowers, boats and that wonderful supermarket. So interesting about the eggs. They are refrigerated here in the USA also. Have a great week my friend.

i have been to this place 3 times.....i love it its far but it worth traveling from Copenhagen to Frederikshavn and to Skagen....I stayed overnight in Frederikshavn at Radisson SAS Hotel that was way back 90's

What a beautiful city, I’ve always wanted to visit Denmark. Nice to hear that the items at the clothing market were reasonable. The hot dog stand does look good. Love all of the flower beds they have all over. So awesome to go into a supermarket to compare, I love doing this too! The water statue is really cool. The Scotland church is really beautiful. Sorry to hear you had problems with your GoPro on the way back, but the photos of the marina were lovely! Such a lovely port! Thanks for taking us along 😊☀️

It was so hot, the forecast for the week was cool & wet so the jacket & jumpers staying in the cabin. The cancelled the night before so there wasn’t much time. I debated getting a cab around the area but there wasn’t anything I could find. Thanks for watching.
