EXPLORE THE CORAL REEFS FEB 2024 SOUTH MALE ATOLL, MALDIVES. UNDERWATER RELAXATION VIDEO 4K

I filmed this video in the South Male Atoll, Maldives in February 2024. The first part of the video shows diving from the house reef at Embudu Island, while the second part shows diving from a few boat dives in the area.
The highlight of the diving was the appearance of a manta ray on the house reef.
I used a GoPro 11 set on a Mares Video lighting tray with two video lights. When I didn’t use the lights I used a red filter.
Doing the diving and making this video was extra special as it was the first trip for the two of us after my husband’s major surgery and radiotherapy for Stage 4 face and neck cancer during the previous seven months.

My first and only trip (so far) to the Maldives was my first and only (so far-haha) liveaboard with Blue Force One. I HIGHLY recommend them. I was totally spoiled and ruined on that trip. I hope any other liveaboard I do in the future can live up to them. Can't wait to go back.

My GoPro is set on a Mares Video Lighting tray with two video lights and I have a red filter which slides on and off the underwater housing. Lights on - no filter. Lights off - filter. The settings on the Go Pro are : Standard, 4K, 24FPS, Linear, Video mode -highest and orientation locked. Hope that is useful!
