It's nice to see a side of MN that isn't just the north shore. I ventured over to Reads Landing for the May 10 aurora show. The river, bluffs, trains, barges, and cars made for some interesting shots. Good luck with your channel.

Our favorite area to explore is the SE portion of the state. A lot of hidden gems. I haven't been to Reads Landing in years...sounds like I need to make the trip back there! Thanks for the comment and for the well wishes!

The photo at 21:40 before the final pano is amazing! Lot of good ones but that one is my favorite. I spend a lot of my time in the SW Wisconsin driftless area but I may have to cross over to Minnesota. Great video, thank you!

@ no good recommendations. I do photo drives - looking for the most rural roads I can find. Sometimes I get nothing but usually come home with an image worth editing. I tend to stay away from popular spots and state parks as I prefer to discover my own compositions. I often drive up to Door County, not in the driftless , but so much to shoot. In fact I have been in Door County now for a few days. It is cold, wet, windy, and foggy - perfect conditions for what I like to shoot!

I went back and forth on getting a drone like you have since our parks mostly don't allow them, but they do set some nice mood shots and love the photos you can get from them.
