Kasaku Tea estate is an estate in central Uganda and has an elevation of 1197m.
Uganda produces about 10,000 metric tonnes of tea per annum and about 90% of tea is exported.
The world tea production is about 3billiom kgs and East African countries: Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania contribute about 11%.
The largest tea producer in Africa is Kenya, 2nd is Malawi and 3rd is Uganda.
