We've explored a big unique souvenir market in Bukhara Uzbekistan where talented craftsmen and artisans sell their works made according to Uzbek traditions. There were painted plates, carpets, woodcrafts, metal goods and knives, and many more. We were able to talk with some sellers and discuss their work, items they sell, prices, and the process of making. Hope you'll enjoy learning something new about Uzbek people and seeing all the beautiful things in this video🕌

That was an amazing video! Thank you so much for sharing it with us, who can probably never travel there. I really would have loved to have purchased some of those beautiful crafts. So amazing! I was wondering: did you feel safe there? Also how did you communicate: Does everyone there speak Russian? So glad to see you and your family doing okay. It must be worrisome to be pregnant during this difficult time. I hope you are feeling well.

Hi, Vika, incredible artisans and probably worth every penny. I liked the plates with their mandalas, the bird scissors (I’ve one, too!) and the carpets a piece from heaven. I like the ones with small squares on it. These things need time… just to watch, but of course more to make them. When I travel I use to visit artisans, too. If I like their work, I take a small piece with me to honour their work and to use it of course. Such pieces change a house to a home. I work with wool and colours and could really enjoy all these things, made with sweat, love and talent. Thank you for sharing, love, take care, Monika❣

It's wonderful to see the artistry and people going about their lives in peace, and your happy family. It's in stark contrast to the awful news that weighs heavy on my heart. Life can be quiet beautiful if we love our neighbors and be kind with humility.

The more I see your family vlogs the more I love how relentlessly optimistic Tolya is. It's so heartwarming to see him excited about all the local art and seeing new things even though I know it's always difficult to relocate. I love traveling around (virtually) with you and your family! So much love to you and your family from California, USA!

Thank you, Victoria. I am glad it’s warmer. I am very impressed with the lovely things for sake. It’s quite amazing! Such beautiful plates! Thank you for showing us the prices. Agatha seems very engaged! I am so glad to see you all safe and living your lives in an interesting place during these very difficult time for you. I love the teapots abs the pomegranate plates! Beautiful instruments. What an education you’re giving us. I would love to come here. The metal plates and embroidery are amazing! I am so happy to hear that these skills are taught at no cost. It is truly an historic treasure. I love the beautiful replicas! The ink container was something I never thought I’d see. It’s so good to see people so close to their work; it’s like they are part of it. Nothing like mass produced things we see too much of. The carpets are beautiful! The stone work on the floors must be very old. Such history. May it always be protested. Agatha is growing so quickly now; where is the little baby Agatha! The metal items are incredible. You have expanded my world vision! It gives me some much needed perspective on how really insignificant I am in the scheme of things. People are so culturally rich. You’re certainly getting a lot of exercise. I can hear the call to prayer; I recognized it from when I was in Cairo. Thank you again. Take care! 💞💞💞

Hey Vika, Tolya, Agatha & future baby sister! Glad to see you're all doing well and enjoying your travels. I love turtles and ethnic arts and crafts! Tolya's "homework" yielded a wonderful video filled with valuable information and beautiful designs. Well done, Tolya. And you as well, Vika, deciding which places to cover. My favorite part was watching Amla the craftsman at work in the brass shop and proudly showing you his school, information center and shop, telling you all the backstories. Cutest moment: "Nothing breaks in here, bro!" 🤣🤣🤣 Also, it was nice to hear Agatha's observations: on finger, fire, etc. Her mind is benefiting tremendously from all these new people, places and things: mental stimulation aids brain development and the ability to adapt to changes in life. That will help her in so many ways. It's even helping your unborn baby, who's receiving these benefits through you, Vika. As well as you and Tolya. Looking forward to your next video. Wishing you all the best in everything. Blessed be.

So wonderful! We read about these exotic names like Bukhara and Samarkand in Indian history, where exotic expeditions took place and later tribes and conquerors entered our country, and not just that but the Bukhara rug is world famous! Very similar are the art and craft of Kashmir. These sorts of things are what make us believe in the paradoxical nature of our lives. So much beauty! But …. there is a war raging nearby. Everyone is anxious… No tourists, no carpet dealers, no art and craft dealers. How would these simple and artistic people live? What would they eat?
