Those smooth foot paths are also good for disabled tourists who are in a wheelchair or on a mobility scooter. I use both and don't want to return to Bali right now because the road situation is so bad at most places. Disabled people are not a minority, in fact over 1 BILLION (!) people worldwide have some kind of disability. Countries (or regions) who prepare for this can attract a lot more tourists.

For ubud center, you can park at the field..
