Explorer III off-road handcycle , test runs in Karpacz (Poland)

The Explorer III is 3rd gen off-road handcycle with full suspension produced by SPORT-ON (www.sport-on.com). The Explorer III was designed for people with limited or no legs function. Our newest product is equipped in the best possible features of the drivetrain and the most advanced suspension system ever designed for handcycle. Its rear wheel drive system provides uncompromising traction in off-road conditions. One of the great features of the Explorer is the chest steering used to keep the bike in a straight line or negotiate turns when pedaling. The handlebars are used for going downhill. Fantastic trike... I would love to power one with an electric mid-drive making the rider's experience less painful up hill and more fun to ride =]

I wish the same with three wheel drive and a 6000w motor is this possible?

Several key design flaws there, not having an alternative method of steering/braking is painfully evident, as well as the flotation or lack thereof of the standard bike tires, either use a dual axle setup or an offroad motorcycle tire so you are running a lower ground pressure, yeah you will have some additional rolling resistance but it would certainly be worth it in the mud, snow, or sand. Body roll also appears to be a weakness of the design, maybe a simple sway bar would fix that.
