@AmadeoneАй бұрын
yeah it's great, unfortunatelly it keeps reseting for me after reloading a world :(
@dapotatoguy2270Ай бұрын
If you use any clients or alternative launchers like lunar, crystal, essentials etc etc, that might be the problem. If you dont use any of that, try messing around with the mods options (config/antique-atlas.toml) and if that doesnt help it seems like data isnt saving, or restoring properly, youd have to look through save files yourself tho. Anyways good luck on finding the problem and solving the problem:)
@AttacMageАй бұрын
@@Amadeone Try checking out your surveyor files. I'm not familiar with the mods, but that's the framework AA4 uses, so it's likely not saving something there. This is all a guess, though, because I don't know what the file structure actually looks like.

Just wanted to say this is my first video of yours and I am already greatly impressed despite the shortness and simplicity. Your humor hits well and is nice and quick, your cinematography is great, and thank god, you’re a Minecraft KZbinr whose editing style doesn’t wear me out lmao. It’s very engaging and relaxing to watch this, and I can’t wait to see more. Best of luck to you on here and keep up the great work! :)
@goblingirl7248Ай бұрын
Also some recommendations to counter some of your choices here: HT’s TreeChop is alright, but it suffers from some block connecting issues, where let’s say you’re building a log frame for your house, but it connects to a tree log, and suddenly, your house is counted as an entire tree. If you want a counter to this, I’d recommend any vein mining mod. Personally, I use FTB Ultimine, but there’s plenty of options out there Tough as Nails is a mod that compacts Dehydration and EnvironmentZ into one mod. The body temperature stuff doesn’t go back beyond 1.16, but otherwise, you should be good Hope you found this interesting, and either way, thank you for highlighting other mods :)

Nice list! I'd make some tweaks: Map Atlases instead of Antique Atlas to not make Vanilla Maps redundant (works great with Supplementaries' slice maps and Trinkets/Curios) Bean's Backpacks instead of Traveler's Backpacks to not make Comforts and bundles redundant and I find Traveler's variants and upgrades to be OP, while re-utilizing vanilla mechanics like the Cauldron and Pots for bulk fluid and item storage on the go (Easy Shulker also makes vanilla bundles way more intuitive) Via Romana (Forge only) instead of Waystones as instant travel is OP even with the XP cost. Instead you must create a suitable path to the destination before you can fast travel Remove Nature & Explorer Compasses as Villagers already sell traveler maps Enchant & Repair which overhauls the Enchantment and XP system to eliminate the need for mob farming and encourage exploration, while making Anvils, Grindstones and Enchantment Tables more in-lined with what they're supposed to be (Anvils repair, Grindstones disenchant for treasure books, Tables enchant) Callable Horses (Forge only) makes your personal Horse soulbound (configurable) so that you can call them anywhere you need to travel far with (basically step assist when needed)
@QuarkOfficialАй бұрын
These are some great shouts holy
@dandy_is_lionАй бұрын
@QuarkOfficial I've spent way too long tweaking hundreds of mods to get things juuust right and balanced haha. It's completely personal taste but I like a bit of challenge that complements vanilla mechanics. When stuff is too easy or too tedious or too OP, it gets boring to me really fast. But ofc, it's a sandbox game. Play how you like! Some people just wanna build or travel without worrying about inventory management or making maps, and that's perfectly okay

@glyphdragonixАй бұрын
What about that one mod that lets you build airships?
@Galactic_15Ай бұрын
@glyphdragonix if this was a modpack, I would have that be gatekept behind some adjusted crafting recipes. Traveling in the air isn't the same as traveling on the ground. And a nomad playstyle isn't really about permanence. That's why a mobile base wouldn't really jive with the early game of something like that.

Maybe a mod that adds a yurt, from which you could have access to a bed, furnace, crafting table and other essential stuff stuff?
@Lanline-py8jiАй бұрын
I’ve always been wanting a mod that adds a pocket dimension base, but flavors it as a tent or a house. Especially if (assuming it was a tent), you could pick up and place it down at will. Closest comparison I can think of would be something like the Slanty Shanty from Don’t Starve: Hamlet. A personal interior that you can use for whatever you want, but only within a limited amount of space.

Personally to make the game not so easy, id use the "Inmis" Mod and "Inmis Addon" mod which together adds personally the best looking backpacks, have easy recipes, but are not so overpowered, like a Iron backpack usually from a mod having 5 upgrades, 50 slots, Inmis starts simple and each upgrade only adds 1 row, starting at 1 row from Leather.
