Tilda Swinton was phenomenal as the White Witch. Great acting, great costume and make-up design, and her own physical appearance and attributes just really served her well to play a very intimidating witch with tremendous power. She was sorely missed in the next two movies. (Yes, I know she had cameos but I mean in any meaningful capacity).

I would have loved to see her play Jadis in The Magician's Nephew. Aka the prequel to the rest of the Narnia books. Seeing the Last Battle of Charn, her coming to our world, then entering Narnia would have been awesome.

Even Tilda Swinton once said on "Ask Me Anything" on Reddit, that she would love to come back to Narnia and portray Queen Jadis again, especially on "The Magician's Nephew." If only the last two Narnia movies had had great financial successes at the Box Office! Sigh ..... if only! 😢 Makes me sad that they stopped on adapting the remaining Narnia books into motion pictures, because I love Narnia. ❤😢

Voldemort was easily identifiable as evil. Jadis on the other hand was beautiful, charismatic and wore mostly white, contrary to black. Her cold looks she was giving before killing Aslan and later in the battle were so much more than Voldy ever gave off.

I love how she perfectly portrays the literal cold-blooded character of the White Witch, the pure look of hatred and disgust as she stabs Edmund is flawless and I love how they show scenes of her literally Chuck Norrising every single Narnian in the battle BY HERSELF (like fr what the hell does she need an army for?) and then playing with Peter during their duel knowing that she had won had Aslan not appeared

Her evilness and personality is what the original story for Frozen's Elsa was supposed to be. Elsa was originally written as an evil ice queen who hates people and the movie was originally supposed to be titled 'The Snow Queen'. Anna was originally written as the only main protagonist that will give Elsa her goodness back so Elsa can redeem herself. But Disney decided to change the story, they made Elsa a good guy cos its a children's movie and they changed the title into 'Frozen'.

Now as an adult, it's disturbing both for the murders she committed (right down to the last blade of grass) and her entitled mindset. The idea of killing a world and thinking it's owed to you is the mindset only a narcissistic psychopath can have.

I know you meant it as a joke, but yeah, Jadis' bitchslap IS dangerous; she has superhuman strength. In the book The Magician's Nephew she is described as snapping a steel lantern post in her hand as though it were a twig, and when she slaps Edmund's face in the book he is described as being stunned, that is, knocked unconscious for a short time. Jadis' slap makes the guy who delivered the Twisted Tea bitchslap look lightweight.

Tilda was Perfect as the white witch. Ethereal looking with intense eyes. She brings so much authority and coldness just by her presence. And she can fight with a sword and her staff at once. PERFECT!
