One most notable thing about the restaurant is the traditional clothing of the staff and super clean and bright dress. Kudos to the management. I ma sure the food is excellent. Prices are so high that the Ambani's can dine here comfortably. In my case, I may have to get a loan from a bank before I step in here. LOL

This Kamath Outlet is Too High on Price Factor. But considering the Fancy Looks & Traditional Show Business the Rates are okay. But one can find the same or better taste food in half the price in other Restaurants. Once in a year, for special family occasions a visit & lavish feast this Kamath is Good Choice. ❤❤❤❤❤

Mangalore bonda is generally called goli baje and prepared out of maida, curds, green chilly, ginger, etc and biscuit bonda or urid bonda is prepared out of your dall, curry leaves, paper, green chillies, ginger etc. Urid Honda is more delicious. The medu vada is another form of urid bhonda.

Appam is called Vellai Appam in Kerala and is served with stew which is a gravy made of potato, onion, ginger. This dish can also be had with brown channa & chutney.

Hi Alka, you look like 80s ki Tina Munim, very pretty 😍 aur restaurant aur khane ke toh kya kehne 👌👌 lajwab. Kamat's is in Chembur also. Aur woh dosa jiske andar red chutney tha, it is Mysore masala dosa. I thought aapko pata hoga kyunki kaafi common hai na 😊

Hi Priya! Tina Is such a compliment 😊 I like it 😍 Thank you so much. And I am glad you liked the food. The dosa is not Mysore Masala Dosa. The red chutney is made from dry red chillies and lots of roasted garlic and it is called Poondu Dosa in their menu. Tasted quite different with a very strong garlic flavour. Those who like eating garlic will love it. This restaurant belongs to the original Kamat group but this one is a fine dine by the name KAMAT's LEGACY and they have 2 more branches - Nariman Point and Malad

Kamats always good on quality of food. Their South speciality hotel Menus will be yummy., They are too high on prices.. One drink for 135 Too much ..😅 All south food has common 3/4 base ingredients rice, chana dal ,urad dal , peanuts n curd . Only area wise masala used in it changes.. i watch your videos for your presentation. You are simple yet stylish n genuine in explaining in menus in your videos , not flashy. Keep it up..
