I actually went through something like this. Along time ago when i was trash at minecraft and only used creative i was exploring and i built a tiny wood log facing up with a redstone block on it. 4 years later while playing minecraft mobile one day i found a place that looked similar and i saw the redstone log . Then after i crashed and the server i was on was deleted.

Hey Ey, im a huge fan like a big BIG fan. I watch ur vid's EVERYDAY. I wanted to tell u that i was playing minecraft with a friend of mine and he said he was afk cuz he needed to go eat dinner. So i thaught " oh lemme go mining in the mean time" so as i went into this cave to mine... i saw like a black figure staring at me for like one sec and i thaught it was my friend pranking me. So as the black figure stared at me for a sec and walked away i wanted to go check what it was so as i went up to it i saw it was gone it just dissapeared and there was no way for it to go bc it was a dead end. When my friend was back after eating dinner i asked him about it and he said that he was afk eating dinner and that he didn't prank me and i thought it was maybe q mob but my friend said that it was on peaceful mode so it couldn't be a mob. So i thaught to tell u, so maybe u can figure it out what it was. Just so u know i dont have any information about it. The only thing i know that it was like all black and that maybe it could be a player bc it walked away like a player and not like a mob so the only thing i know that it was all black and maybe its a player.
