Maureno, this was so much fun to watch. I can only imagine how much fun you had filming it. It was kind of freaky for me watching you go partially down the one slide. I totally felt my claustrophobia kick in. Thank you for sharing this fantastic location with us and documenting it for eternity. Cheers. ❤

I stumbled across this water park in an Instagram Reel. Being a huge fan of abandoned places I wanted to know more. Unfortunately I was having trouble finding some good info/videos in English. So I was very excited to find this video! It's really a shame how much the COVID pandemic changed our world. So many businesses met their tragic end as a result and it looks like this one was another one. Looks like it was a really cool place back in it's prime! And as someone else mentioned earlier, I think all the sand was actually washed or blown there by storms. Thanks for sharing this place with us!

Hey Maureno, absolutely fascinating video about that water park. - Although a lot of damage is visible throughout the location, it still is looking very impressive. These inserted film clips, when the water park was still in use, show nicely how much of a fun place that once was back in the active days. Very interesting and pleasant to watch! Peace and kindest regards.

I bet there was many hours of fun at this complex, however the amount of corrosion in the past three years shows that water corrodes things quickly and the atmosphere x
@Explomo25 күн бұрын
Hi Joan, there surely was a lot of joy and it is sad that it is now left to oblivion. You are right, water can do a lot of damage to a place. We see it a lot usually in the humid environments of abandoned houses with leaking roofs, but in this swimming pool it became even more evident how quickly a site can decay in a short amount of time. Thanks for your comment and have a lovely week x

It seems odd that this was built by the sea. I'm a water baby and much prefer swimming in lakes, oceans and seas. Though at the time it was constructed in the 80's, I'd have gladly gone there. Thanks for doumenting this before it's demolished.
@Explomo25 күн бұрын
Hi Janice, I get your point and thinking about it, it is slightly strange to built a pool right in front of all this massive seawater for people to enjoy! As always, you're most welcome. Hope life is treating you well over there. Much love! ❤️

This place must have needed an army of staff to run, clean and maintain so all those jobs gone. If it's on the Atlantic coast l think the sand would have just blow in with storms. It's going to be a hell of a job to reclaim all that steel and glass, l hope it gets properly sorted not just landfill.

Wat jammer. Misschien is het een goed idee dit park te transformeren in flats voor de ouderen.😥😥❤❤of vakantie flats.
@Explomo5 күн бұрын

I love the video but why show the location and make it so easy for others to find and destroy places like this?
@Explomo5 күн бұрын
Hi Alyssia, thanks for your comment and for watching! I totally understand your concern about preserving these places. We always wait with publishing our explorations until they are under proper protection and surveillance. For this particular water park, it's actually facing demolition and is currently under police surveillance, which makes it very difficult for anyone to cause harm or damage. Our aim is to document these sites responsibly and ensure their history is preserved before they’re lost forever. I hope that clarifies things! Thanks again for your support!
