Love the gung ho attitude, i think the green rocks were chalcopyrite that oxidized into malachite

You have a good eye for filming. Those were some gnarly spots. Us old farts have been out a few times in the last couple of months. Hit and miss but still had fun. The weather is changing fast here in Reno country. Not too many more opportunities for prospecting left. Time to shift to skiing. Looking forward to your next vid on Burning Man.

Ive been focusing on metal detecting and exploring ghost towns more than prospecting the last cpl months. If you guys head out before the snow hits let me know. Id like to hit some spots with you guys

You sound great, whatever you rendered with works great on my 5+yo phone quality is great too man crystal clear. I feel like in a generation or two avid travelers will see your videos and try to map where you have been, not sure if there is much else recorded history besides like state files that just sweep the area. You come from another state and set up in the wastes... it takes a mighty perception to avoid the many errors that could weild crippling results. I respect you, stay vigil you have potential to stumble on greatness or even forge it yourself

Malachite. Copper ore. Wonder what they mined besides copper? If you want to increase interest, start learning minerology and mining lore and show the different mineral deposits in the mines you visit. If possible.

I don't think a camera can really catch how grievous shit like this can be, there is a reason why they imbed fear into people young about cavernous pits and mines, not to just strum off into the desert like you manage.
