to be honest, had to leave because we both were not feeling good, but they have made the area open for crown land camping, and there is a large tailings pond just around the corner from here..thanks for checkin it out👍🙂

Glad you enjoyed it, was feeling a bit ill after this brief explore, the city made this area crown land, a free camping zone, but there is a huge radioactive tailing pond close to this site :(

Thanks Mr. Bill's Area 10🙂 heard of this place through a friend and had to go check it out, the mine shaft we found later, was right beside the processesing plant capped, will return the favor friend👍

Wow that is really something to see. Surprised they didn't have to clean up and toxic stuff. But back in the day company's did get away with stuff like that. It was interesting to see. Thanks for taking us along 👍

thanks for checkin it out👍indeed a strange setup, and yes its old and before the time when cleanup was required.. they have actually deemed the area crown camping land, and there is tailing ponds down from this site??

Cool tour! Nasty looking place with some interestingly coloured guck. Would be interesting to see what a geiger counter would pick up from there. Good that you only stuck around for short while. TC and ATB!

its toxic, the first day we were there it was windy and guess we breathed in some particles and got a bit sick and had to leave..this area has been deemed crown land camping, and there is tailing ponds down the way from this site.. have another cool explore to post in the next few weeks or so👍 hope you had a good Christmas Matthew🌲🌲

Far too many of these places still leeching poison into the water table because cleanup after mining wasn’t expected or demanded. Interesting stuff Brother!

Very interesting place to explore. I probably would have passed on this one, though. Glad you didn't seem to hang around too long. I doubt it was a healthy place to linger.

the area is open to public crownland camping, so dont figure its too high risk here, but would for sure be handy to have one👍 thanks for watching Curt and hope you enjoyed

we had to drive on to another road to get to it, and it was just white rock, but we thought it may have been a concrete blocked mine entrance🙂👍

ThinkingBetter thanks for watching👍never had a Geiger, and never thought we even had Uranium around here! A friend reccomended we go check it out. The area has been deemed crown land ie. free camping zone, so wouldn't imagine the levels are too high, but ended up getting ill on the first explore attempt,we figure due to airborn chemical particles..

@@jsteelsadventureandvariety4545 You should go check out the place for radiation. Too many places are hot and people don’t even know it. A crazy story is the city of Pocatello in Ohio where Monsanto sold radioactive slag for road construction and cement and people didn’t even realize the entire city was turned into the most radioactive place in America before it was too late years later. A simple Geiger counter would have caused people to know.
