You probably won't but there's an abandoned Penitentiary in Pennsylvania. Its called the Eastern State Penitentiary and it was built in 1826 in Philadelphia. It's known for being the first prison of its kind to introduce solitary confinement as well as using the Auburn system (prisoners had to work together in silence) It was used as a form of rehabilitation. They were even blindfolded when walking from place to place. Due to Eastern States' harsh approach, many prisoners were driven to insanity and the solitary confinement system was scrapped in 1913. From then until 1970 it was used as a regular prison and held the likes of Al Capone and the bank robber, Willie Sutton. Reports of paranormal activity have been going on since the 1940's, but ever since the prison was abandoned in 1971, paranormal experiences have increased. Reports include: -Shadowy figures that quickly turn away when approached -A dark figure occasionally can be seen in the guard tower -An evil cackling can be heard coming from cell block 12 -shadowy figures have been seen sliding down walls in cellblock 6 -ghostly faces have been seen in cell block 4 and strange sounds such as disembodied footsteps, distant talking, and banging off cell doors can be heard. I think this would be such a cool place to visit and explore as its 11 acres of prison. There have been witnesses of shadowy figures, footsteps and banging of cell doors. Its located at 2027 Fairmount Avenue between Corinthian Avenue and North 22nd Street in the Fairmount section of the city. From forums and online chats, I've done a bit of research about how haunted the place is. It's had several suicides, murders, torture andinsanity. There was a water bath where the inmates were dunked then hung out on a wall in winter until ice formed on their skin. The mad chaie, which bound an inmate so tightly their circulation was cut off, later meaning amputations (which would explain the disembodied footsteps I mentioned in the reports section). There were tonnes of other torturous acts that were cast upon on the inmates which drove many to suicide. You can also hear wails and whispers in many of the cellblocks. One of the security guards states he unlocked cell block 4 only to have a force grip on his wrist so tightly he was unable to move. He describes a horrible, negative energy had exploded out of the cell. He also said tormented faces appeared on cell walls and on form in paricular beckoned him. Tour guide Ben Bookman says "its harder to find a believer than it is to find a sceptic. We at Eastern states do not claim that the prison is haunted. We run a haunted attracted not a haunted prison." He also says people tend to view the prisons darker side, making tv shows about the ghostly things, but his tours don't. I live in Australia and personally have never been to the Penitentiary in person. I've done a bit of research so you have a background of the prison and how haunted it seems. I really hope you go to the penittentiary as it looks cool and sounds quite haunted. Like if you think Sam and Colby should go

Hey so this probably will sink to the very bottom of the comments but I have a suggestion of where you should go. I live in St Louis and there is a old jail called the St Louis Penitentiary and it’s very haunted. They do ghost tours there and overnight ghost tours. There is also an old mansion called the Lemp Manor. It’s a hotel you can stay in and it’s extremely haunted. Just a suggestion but my friend and I would be extremely happy if you came to St. Louis.
