In this explore, we return to Horse Sand Fort in Portsmouth where we discover a few things we missed in a previous explore!
Horse Sand Fort is one of the larger Royal Commission sea forts in the Solent off Portsmouth, England. The fort is one of four built as part of the Palmerston Forts constructions. It measures 200 feet across, and was built between 1865 and 1880. It has two floors and a basement, with armor-plated all round. It was built to prevent the possibility of a French invasion.
