Exploring an Abandoned Mine Covered in Strange Graffiti

This abandoned silver mine is not covered well in the historic reports, so we know little about this place. It was worked fairly extensively and maybe even somewhat recently, relatively speaking. There is miner's graffiti as modern as 1957, so the mine may have been last worked then. The mine probably dates back to the 1890s, but it's hard to prove that.
This ore body was worked via a discovery shaft and a long adit. Several thousand feet into the mine we found some strange miner's graffiti. We couldn't tell what the 'Danger!' graffiti or the skull graffiti were referencing.
Please excuse the camera shakiness, this was before I bought the stabilizer.
