10:42 check out that meandering line of thin stones that cuts across the entire wall. thats awesome. was is for decoration or for purpose in construction of the wall?
@jasonrosenberger69898 ай бұрын
I noticed that as well, I would think it was a remnant from building processes but can only speculate for now. Also, I was wondering what type of material was used as the bonding agent for the stone, is it closer to concrete, clay, plaster, etc....

Just Subscribed... As someone that has always been fascinated with world history and ancient architecture, engineering, megaliths, ruins, lost civilizations & technologies, especially with that of India and The East, as an American of Azteca/Spanish and Spanish/Basque decent, knowing that such amazing ancient ruins are here in The New World, that sence of wonder that got me fascinated(borderline infatuated) with ruins of the East has just been reignited by whats here in the Americas. Absolutely Magnificent and Amazing! Great work Luke, keep it up!... It would be awesome to see your chanel have a drone/LiDar team, and 3D renderings of what these places would've looked like at the hight of their civilizations... Wishing your chanel the most success!

Loving the video's Luke!!! You guys might already know about this but I just watched Muskoka Freerider video about the camera he uses. He rides snowmobiles up mountains , the camera has multiple mounting options, including off a backpack. The images are stunning!!! Not sure this helps or even applies for you guys but when I heard your camera guy say it's hard to climb with one hand I thought of this . Looking forward to all your adventures and I'm working on the wife to go on one of your tours. She's not nearly as interested as I am. LOL

Most of this type of imagery is hard to see . Some can't see it unless it's pointed out . Even then some don't expect it . Look for noses 👃 eyes 👀 or one eye 👁️ in side profiles . If they line up with a head 🗣️ mouth 👄 hair where it should be . Animals , Zoo Morphs and People can also sometimes be seen blending together in a sort of Totem Style ! Some call it " Having the Eye " !

you state the buildings were built like that to keep the occupants cool in the dense humid jungle. Luke, you should be aware that when the entire continent was thriving and all centres being used, very little of the jungle was there. it was all cleared for cities and farms, bar parks and other stuff. but the absolute vast majority of the amazon jungle wasn't there.
@black_eagle8 ай бұрын
He's in the Yucatan -- the Amazon is thousands of miles away. They did clear a lot of forest, but not the "vast majority" -- don't know where you're getting that from.
@terrellowens8978 ай бұрын
Why are you not showing more of the pyramid? You’re on top of it and the cameraman doesn’t even show much at all. He just keeps following you when we wanna see more of the rooms and walls on the top of the pyramid.
@black_eagle8 ай бұрын
The videography is deceptive. He's trying to make it look like he's deep in the jungle exploring untouched ruins, when the site has clearly been restored and there are probably tourists and a parking lot nearby. So he keeps the camera shots tight and focused on him. This channel is a bit of a grift, to be honest.
@AncintArt2ndColony8 ай бұрын
I don't think it's deceptive . They are showing what it is like walking around the area , not the stand back full parameter view like you're used to . And doing it this way it's not practical to examine and panorama each step .
@black_eagle8 ай бұрын
@@AncintArt2ndColony No, it's clearly more than that. He's trying to create an Indiana Jones discovering lost cities in the jungle image, and to most youtube viewers who've never been to these places it's believable. But I've been to that area, and know from experience that if you aren't careful your camera will pick up tourists, paths, garbage cans and other things that break the illusion of being deep in the jungle. Even at Calakmul he tried to make it look that way, even though the place is well-developed and full of tourists. If you can't see the deception, well, there's a sucker born every minute, as the saying goes.
