I'll be visiting Yangzhou and Zhenjiang this summer. Can't wait for the trip! Thanks for the cool walkthrough.

You’re welcome! Any reason for visiting these cities in particular?

@@xiaoandmatt My wife grew up in Zhenjiang, but she has family in Yangzhou as well. Any recommendations for things to do in either city?

@@elgard19 I have never been to Zhenjiang, so I don’t know. As far as Yangzhou itself I have only been there a handful of times myself because my wife’s family lives in Jiangdu which feels like a separate city from Yangzhou. The place definitely worth seeing in Yangzhou is 瘦西湖 which is a big park and 东关街 which is sort of a touristy area, but it has lots of old alleys and stuff. I made a video over there last year - Exploring Yangzhou's Charming Dongguan Jie: A Chinese New Year Adventure kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYrXpa13iK13bc0

9:50 That old lady mistook you for one of the workers that went to organize and maintain the wires. She complained that the wires are so messy and loose that some cars can't pass underneath🙂. By the way, your mandarin is a super good, and even can understand the dialect there. 👍

Thanks for helping translate what she said. I could only understand a bit of what she was trying to say. I need to improve my ability to understand the local dialect.
