Well I mean realistically, they just ported the room over and touched it up visually. It’s the exact same models and everything. It wouldn’t make much sense to create a whole new room that takes place in a previously rendered room.

​@@firzzy9404 I actually had this idea a couple years ago and wanted to make a mod that does this but porting everything in, upgrading textures, reworking some areas or adding the ultra-batclaw, the Grundy fight in AC and how in AK the explosive gel quick fire is different, etc just so much work to do on my own especially with how much I work. Going back and replaying Asylum (which I still love) does drive me crazy especially cause the combat has come so far from the first game I always end up getting frustrated with myself for trying to quick fire the wrong thing, or the wrong way. Plus I wish I could play as the Joker with the updated combat (yeah I know there are mods but they use Batman's animations)

When the scene plays, the camera cuts to Jason shooting which can be edited in post to make it look like he’s aiming at Bruce’s shackles which is probably what Rocksteady did to save on resources or time in production. Again, cutscenes don’t need assets to be perfectly aligned in real time if the camera moves relative to the plot

It is in the same engine after all. It explains the high level of detail for areas we don't even see in the scene, such as the Riddler trophy spots, and the completely unchanged textures for the directory signs.

Honestly, they should’ve added some DLC missions that take place in Arkham Asylum and City. Like, imagine a Jason Todd DLC where you escape Arkham Asylum after Joker “kills” you and then you play as Jason Todd stalking Batman in Arkham City (in case you didn’t know, Jason has pictures of Batman and Robin taken during their Arkham City scene, confirming that Jason spied on Bruce during the events of that game).

Both games run on Unreal Engine, albeit different versions, so that explains how they managed to "copy-paste" (I bet it's a tad more complicated than that) most of the room, collisions and all.

Since they added The Batman Pattinson suit to the game modders found the way they needed to import models from other Arkham games into Knight. All the Arkham City skins have already been ported.

Imagine if we got another Arkham game with all maps merged together. Also I may be a bit biased here but I have reasonings. I think Harley Quinn should be one of the main villains because she is angry that joker died, tried to take revenge and nearly succeeded and witnesses the joker infected die. Plus if the pregnancy thingy was still a thing that would fuel Harley with enough motive to want revenge. Kinda like her helping the criminals in knight but she is more involved. I think this would be such a cool story as she’s lost basically everything and just becomes more darker and empty and crazy. Maybe it ends with Batman telling her how Joker really died, that he was gonna save him and now will try to save her as well. Then Quinn slowly gets better kinda liek she did in the animated series when she left joker but she’s still upset about his passing. Then maybe the final boss is either Harley or someone else like Deathstroke, Scarecrow or Hush. I just think Harley could’ve been used better in Knight but I’m glad she at least appeared in the game, both story and playable. She looks gorgeous in Arkham knight. I still can’t believe the same Harley from Arkham is in the Suicide Squad game. She just feels so different. Also about the ss game I have my problems with it (I think Harley has shown she can kill/has the ability to kill Batman but I don’t think she should’ve killed him in the way it happened) and it’s other problems but it is fun and the positive for me is I get to play as Harley AND see another performance of the LEGENDARY KEVIN CONROY (RIP). I just wish the game had more content cus it can get boring quickly. Knight is my fav Arkham game but I do admit City has the better story. Anyways I hope everyone reading has a nice day!!!

Whether in a final boss encounter with Scarecrow, or a DLC involving the meeting of villains, prior to Arkham Knight. what i expect from rocksteady is that they bring together the arkham trilogy in one game with the 3 maps (arkham asylum, arkham city and arkham knight gotham) they can make sure that in the game menu we can choose the story we want to play and with each story we finish, we unlock the scenario map in the other scenarios, they should also ensure that we can control Red Hood, Robin, Catwoman, Nightwing, Batgirl and Azrael in the open world a bit like in Spider-Man 2 and they should make it possible to change the weather 😅

There are a few things that are missing and are few things that have changed like the cabinet that says penguin is originally in one of the hallways the things that are missing is the big bell that drops on the ground after you encounter scarecrow the second time in arkham asylum and the door that takes you to the filing room is gone and i feel like there are more trees in arkham knight then there was in arkham asylum

Pensei nisso... talvez eles tenham só importado o mapa do Asylum e por isso tá bem detalhada, mas sla achei estranho msm, até a parte de fora tem colisão sendo que só tem cutscene nessa área

​@@FcabbEu acho difícil ter sido uma parte cortada do jogo, pelo fato de só aquele área ter colisão real. A não ser que tenha sido cortado logo no início da ideia (e, então trocado pela noia toda dos coringas na cabeça). Pensando bem, talvez até tenham pensado na última seção do jogo sendo no Asylum em si, mas trocaram após pensarem no trabalho que daria e como encaixaria no jogo de uma forma coesa.

I was hoping in ARKHAM KNIGHT that we got at least, two missions were we going to ARKHAM CITY and ARKHAM ASYLUM, to make a closure or final goodbye to the entire saga.... 9 years later... we got Arkham Asylum and Gotham City back... but in Suicide Squad.... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I want someone to mod in Asylum's whole map from buildings to just Arkham Island with Knight's textures. Literally my dream to reimagine the game with the Knight gameplay style... EDIT: Asylum is the best Arkham Game imo no hate please

Definitely potted it over from Arkham Asylum but still cool regardless. Really wish we got to play in the Asylum instead of a cutscene

I mean they should just combine the world settings of all three games as it's a missed opportunity to go baxk and explore the past settings after the end of Arkham Knight.. obviously they can't really do dlc if they do this other than ar missions as with Kevin Conroy's passing, only way you're getting any new dialogue is via wb having up and coming voice actors to try out and see who sounds the closest to kevin Conroy.
