Absolutely, they are an amazing band, can't wait if they come to my neck of the woods, we have a great music club call Esquires, been going for years and years. At first they mostly had metal band's but they branched out to other genres. But still have some great rock bands play there. They've had the Misfits and many local bands, and a few months ago saw The Anti nowhere league, a punk band. So definitely a place they would be welcomed

Greetings from 🇺🇸..nice seeing a guitar show in Great Britain..my grandmother was from Liverpool..back in Beatles days..my mum..was born there.been playing many years..loads of goodies Les Paul’s.strats,teles ..ashdown I’ve heard of orange of course .just the camaraderie of all the venders and yourself was nice…god bless🤙🏻..Ps I even know what a tea cozy is..😊🤙🏻

Really captures the sound and feel and must've been great fun to do. Oh and I just bought a new bass. One of those cheap Sterling Stingray things. Cici I love you and your bass playing you are fantastic and you are amazing in the Dave Simpson trio. But please say hello to Dave Simpson for me. He is the only reason I’m still here today to send you this message. I love guitars so much I’ve played them since I was 6 years old. I was in a bad way in 2015. I got diagnosed with Chrons disease. And I was very poorly. And there was nothing that could help me at the time. And I got so low I made plans to put an end it. But then I saw a Dave Simpson video on my KZbin channel. And I was hooked immediately. And I watched all of them and I thought I can’t end it now I will miss one of his videos . And I could not wait until a new video came out. To me dave is and will always be a massive part of my life. And I love the Dave Simpson trio. I will come and see you live one day. And I’m very eager to buy a cd once it comes out. Ashdown invited me back in 2017 and I still haven’t made it over yet, I’m really grateful they asked me and hopefully I’ll make it over soon as it’s well overdue!! I've only ever gotten to experience it by proxy, as people I've known have gone, but it strikes me that it might be such a candy land environment for you that your sensory overload issues could possibly, ironically, get pushed aside by the sheer volume and rate of neat stuff that'd catch your eyes and ears. Of course, I may be completely off-base on that, in which case I apologize. I'm rather surprised the good Captain hasn't already had you and Dave fitted for an ATA case to ship you folks over for it - assuming the Andertonians are going this year. ;)

Hi Dave, I understand what you’re saying, but just want to give my side of things here for some context - As far as sound goes, I don’t have the money to buy a directional microphone yet, but am working on it for future videos. I made this video voluntarily, the show didn’t ask me or pay me to do it, and the idea is just to show the atmosphere as some of the gear and lovely people you can meet at these shows, as well as showcase the creators of these products, and other musicians in general. Or if someone hasn’t been to one before and wants to know what to expect or couldn’t make it to the show. As far as not showing the gear, I showed as much as I could, but in all honesty I didn’t even make it all the way round the show myself - I was there from 10AM until closing time at 6PM, and got stopped so many times by people (which I don’t mind, I love putting faces to names), I didn’t make it round the whole show despite it not even being that big. It’s incredibly difficult to film at these shows for a multitude of reasons, including the ones mentioned above, and I did this off my own back just to try to share the atmosphere for anyone interested. Again I am working on trying to get some better equipment when I’m able to, this is only the second time I’ve done something like this so am just getting experience and still learning. Hope that clears things up!
