Now, here’s the thing: many people overlook Cannizaro Park and think of it as just another green space. Which I get; London is home to so many great parks.
But Cannizaro Park has a lot to offer. It’s not just about the greenery. It has a rich history and was once a private garden for about 300 years. It’s only been open to the public for about 60 years.
There’s a rich history here, amazing flora and fauna, and, honestly, a vibe that you just can’t find anywhere else. So, if you’ve passed by without stopping, you’ve been missing out! From its iconic trees to the serene lakes.
The first thing to notice is that it's home to an incredible array of trees. Seriously, over 200 species! From majestic oaks to delicate cherry blossoms, there’s something for everyone. Every season brings a new look to the park, so it’s like visiting a different place each time.
